Frank Shannon

Frank Vincent Shannon, age 70, former husband to Delores Christine Keefner. Loving father of Steven William (Noriko) Shannon and Brian Michael (Cheryl) Shannon. Cherished grandfather of Nathan Shannon. Devoted son of the late Angeline Shannon and William Shannon. Dear brother of the late Martin Shannon.

Frank was a former Chicago Policeman and a former Sales Engineer at Thornel Associates. In addition to being the World's Biggest Chicago Bears fan, Frank loved fishing, bird watching, collecting old coins, assembling model airplane kits, and enjoyed watching movies, especially action, science fiction, cowboy, comedies and musicals. He was always willing to give others “Free Advice” if they needed help in any way and was a great mentor and father to his two sons and loved them dearly.

Visitation Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at with a Funeral Service to follow at 11:30 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem), Orland Park, IL. To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements.

Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL.
