Frances C. Smeltz, nee Clayton, age 98, late of Frankfort, IL and formerly of Amboy, IL. Beloved wife for 59 years to the late Russell A. Smeltz (2017). Loving mother of Alice (Philip) LeGrand and the late Robert (late Delores) Naylor, the late Jack (late Barbara) Naylor and the late Larry "Red" Naylor. Cherished grandmother of William Naylor, Regina (Ralph) Eggen, Suzanne (Greg) Lisak, Jack (Shari) LeGrand, Francie (Tom) Boss and Lou Graham. Dearest great-grandmother of Brittany, Steven, Kari (Steve), Craig, Andy (Brittany), Kelli, Luke (fianceé Hailey), Tyler, Allie and the late Amanda. Dear great-great grandmother of three. Preceded in death by her two sisters, Lorraine Price and Phylis Naylor and one brother, Gene Clayton. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 3-8 PM. Funeral Service Wednesday, June 16, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave., (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
