Cherished grandmother of Terri (Mike) Eagan, Tom (Katie) Walaszek, Greg (Emily) Geyer, Maureen (Mike) Walsh, Erin (Amanda Downs) Walaszek, Anne (Matthew) Lunkes and Matthew (Stephanie) Walaszek. Dearest great-grandmother of Annie, Matthew, Ryan, Amelia, Gavin and Melanie; Maddie, Leah, Nate, Sarah, Edie, Audrey, Dottie, Peter, Louie, Millie, Ben & Florence. Dear sister of Paul (Marlene) Plucienik, the late Bob (Virginia) Plucienik and the late Gerald (Patricia) Plucienik. Fond sister-in-law of the late Chester (late Lillian) Walaszek and the late Loretta (late Walter) Haryacz. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Cookie and her husband Henry were the proud owners of Capri Beauty Salon on Archer Ave. in Chicago for 35 years.

Memorial Visitation Friday, September 20, 2024 at Most Holy Redeemer Church, 9525 S. Lawndale Ave., Evergreen Park, IL from 9:30 AM until time of Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Entombment private at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
