Favorite S. "Fay" Dowding (nee Wuchitech), age 89, beloved wife of the late Robert Dowding (1998). Loving mother of Steven (Mary) Dowding, Carolyn (Joe Suerth) Schmidt, Lorraine (Paul) Valdez and the late Russell (Diana) Dowding. Cherished grandmother of Tony (Katie) Dowding, Matthew (Colleen) Dowding; Cara (Patrick) Howerter, Brad (Erin) Dowding; Zachary (fianceé Kelly Murphy) Schmidt, Alison Schmidt; Devin (Abigail) Harris and Taylor Harris. Dearest great-grandmother of Landen, Trace; Sophia, Charlotte, Hailey, Dylan, Camden; Kayden, Ezekiel, Judah and Leo. Dear sister of Roy (Elizabeth Reno) Wuchitech.

Fay was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and a silent prayer warrior. She was known for her generosity and kindness. Fay loved Jesus deeply and dedicated her life to teaching her children and grandchildren about Him. Her children and grandchildren were the light of her life, reflecting the love she shared with them.

Visitation Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 4:00PM to 6:00PM with a Service to Celebrate Fay's life to follow at 6:00PM at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Burial private at Chapel Hill Gardens South, Oak Lawn, IL.
