Evelyn Marie (Harrell) Dobbins

Evelyn M. Dobbins (Harrell), 66, of Dolton IL, and longtime resident of Gurnee IL., passed away July 23, 2020 of cancer. Lynnie was born February 25, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois, to Joseph and Mary (Flood) Harrell. She attended St. Jude The Apostle Catholic School in South Holland, IL and Thornridge High School in Dolton, Illinois.  Attended Lake County College and earned certifications, with honors, in Culinary Arts, Food Production and Hotel Hospitality Management.  She went on to manage and mentor at several prominent Hotels, Country Clubs and Restaurants. An avid golfer, she also enjoyed entertaining and cooking for her friends and family.  We will forever remember, and cherish, her infectious laugh, quick wit, and nonjudgmental personality.     She is survived by her mother, Mary Harrell of Crown Point; Children: Benjamin Rosenfield, Ryan Rosenfield, Padriagh Dinnis and Andrew Dobbins; Grandmother to; Dillanger Rosenfield: Brothers and Sisters (spouses); Kevin Harrell, Nancy Reynolds (James Erickson), Joseph Harrell and Erin Ross (Andrew Ross); Niece and Nephews; James Harrell, John Harrell, Kerri Reynolds, Sean Ross and Liam Ross; Great Aunt: Kaci Reynolds, Faith Reynolds-Pettice and Bryar Twomey. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Harrell and her cousin, Kevin Flood. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the American Cancer Society. Visitation Friday August 14th from 10:00am until time of Funeral Service at 12:00pm at the MAHER FUNERAL HOME 17101 71ST AVE.  TINLEY PARK, IL  60477.  Interment private.
