Erin Nancy Plautz (nee Ebel), age 44, of Oak Forest, passed away suddenly on April 13, 2016 in Columbia, MO.
Born July 1, 1971 to Kevin and Nancy (Gavin) Ebel, Erin was raised and educated at Palos East Elementary District 118 and graduated from Sandburg High School Disrict 230. On April 25, 1992, she married John C. Plautz.
Erin was employed in the data entry field for several retail operations. Family was most important to Erin, and she enjoyed doing crafts in her leisure time.
Survivors include her husband, John; two children, Zachary and Zoe; her parents, Nancy Ebel and Kevin Ebel; her siblings, Keith (Lisa) Ebel, Coleen (Paul) Tuscher, Brian (Kim) Ebel, and Eric (Monica) Ebel; nieces and nephews, Kenneth, Theresa, Nicholas, Margaret, Brennan, Mairghread, Griffin, Ethan, Emelina, Katherine, Gretchen, Katie, and Ethan; and special friends, Tim and Aunt Thelma. Preceded in death by her nephew, Evan.
Visitation Wednesday 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 20, at the Maher Funeral Home, 7051 W. 171st St, Tinley Park. The funeral blessing will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Inurnment will be private.
