Elsie Pittman

Elsie Pittman (nee Vortanz) age 93 late of Joliet, Il passed away on October 7, 2019.

Elsie was a retired banker, where she worked at Bank of Park forest for 25 years. She enjoyed crochet, cooking and baking.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband (Chester (1977), her parents Walter & Violet; sisters Lois Stephens, Margaret Hogue & Beatrice (Pete) Olker.

She is survived by her daughters Susan (Frank) Grupp and Pamela (Paul) Petrakis; sons Ron (Laura) Sonby, Gregory (Janet) Sonby, Tom (Rhonda) Sonby, brother Russell Vortanz, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 11 from 3:00 pm, - 8:00 pm at Maher Funeral Home 17101 71st Avenue, Tinley Park.  Chapel  Service Saturday 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment immediately following at Skyline Memorial Park, Monee, Il
