Elizabeth "Betty" Nagel

Elizabeth Jane "Betty" Nagel, nee Chartrand, age 88, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on November 21, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Howard J. Nagel (1999). Loving mother of Howard G. (Mary), Diane Healy, Deborah Malkinson, Paul (Susan), and Daniel. Cherished grandmother of Teresa (David) McMasters, Matthew (Caitlin) Nagel, Bradley (Dana) Nagel, Cara Melvin, Phillip (Giana) Nagel, Dennis Healy, Alan Nagel, Claire (Alex) Hjelmaas, Sarah (Rob) St. Jean, Jacob Malkinson, Glen Nagel, Chloe Malkinson, Nathan Kentner, Mark Nagel, and William Nagel. Dearest great-grandmother of 13. Treasured sister of Shirley (late Leslie) Auld. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Betty and her late husband Howard owned and operated a service station for 46 years in Orland Park. Family was everything to Betty. She was also an avid Cubs fan and lived to see them win it all.

Visitation Monday, November 29, 2021 from 4-9 PM. Funeral Tuesday, November 30, 2021, 8:30 a.m. from Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL to St. Michael Church, Orland Park, IL. Mass 9:30 AM. Interment St. Alphonsus Cemetery, Lemont, IL.
