Elizabeth (Beth) Ann Youell

Elizabeth Ann Youell of Wilmington, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on July 7, 2022. Born November 18, 1981, in Ottawa, Illinois. She was the daughter of Mark and Grace (Brown) Youell. Beth attended UCP in Joliet until the age of 21 after which she was a frequent volunteer at her youngest brother’s school “helping” in the classroom and at Santa’s Secret Shop. She was a excellent ambassador for people with disabilities exposing the students at a young age and showing them how to react to people who are different. We always welcomed and answered any questions from curious children. She was always accepted and well loved. Without ever saying a word she touched the hearts of all who knew her. Beth is survived by her parents Mark and Grace (Brown) Youell of Palos Hills, brother-Matthew Youell and wife Kristina Heath, nieces-Kate and Caroline, of Jacksonville, Florida, brother-Chris and Robin (Burghardt) Youell, nieces and nephew- Avery, Leah and Bobby, of Plainfield, and brother-Zach Youell of Wilmington also including many aunts, uncles, cousins and their families. She was preceded by her paternal grandfather, Raymond Youell of Palos Hills and her maternal grandparents Leland and Marilyn Brown also of Palos Hills, Uncle Daniel Youell and Cousin Daniel Brown. The family requests that instead of sending flowers that you plant something purple in your own yard in her memory.

Services for Beth will take place all in one day on Monday July 18th at The Maher Funeral Home, 17101 71st Street Tinley Park Illinois 60477(1 Blk East of Harlem on 171st Street), from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. There will be a Celebration of Life Service promptly at 6:30 PM. Pastor Jamie Deuser officiating.

In Lieu of Flowers, the Youell Family kindly asks that you consider making a memorial donation in Beth’s name to United Cerebral Palsy or per family request that you plant something purple in your own yard in her memory and maybe send a pic to Mark & Grace.
