Eldene L. "Ellie" Doff

Eldene L. "Ellie" Doff, nee Frieling, age 97, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 14, 2025. Beloved wife for 59 years to the late Herman Doff (2007). Loving mother of the late Deborah (Mark (Connie)) Cruikshank and the late Michael “Mick” (Linda) Doff. Cherished grandmother "Grandma Ow" of Becky (Brian) Bettenhausen, Matt (Tracy) Cruikshank, Sara (fiancée Michael Peacher) Doff, Rachel (Leo) Novosel, Michael Doff Jr. and the late Timothy Doff. Dearest great-grandmother of eight. Dear sister of Karen Wierenga, and the late Marty Frieling, Florence Van Dyken, and Jay "Bud" Frieling, Dearest aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Eldene was a founding member of Calvary Church of Orland Park. She was loved by many at Smith Crossing.

Visitation Friday, July 18, 2025 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 Noon with a Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 Noon at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park. Burial private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
