Elaine M. Phillips, nee Johnson, age 90, born on August 22, 1929, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 19, 2020. Beloved wife for 67 years to Gene Phillips. Loving mother of Craig (Kim) Phillips and Nancy (Burt) Kaper. Cherished grandmother of David (Becky) Phillips, Mark (Sarah) Phillips, Grant (fiancé Amanda) Kaper, Allison Kaper, and Reed Kaper. Dearest great-grandmother of Eli, Cohen, Aniston and Laelyn.
A resident of Palos Heights for 61 years, Elaine was a 1951 graduate of Wheaton College. She taught the 4th grade for many years at Palos East Elementary in School District 118. She enjoyed making ceramics and traveling. Elaine also loved being involved with the Palos Heights Garden Club, Christian Women's Club and Coffee Break at Moraine Valley Church.
Services and burial will be private.
