Edwin Sinars

October 21, 1944 — March 1, 2025

Edwin E. "Ed" Sinars, age 80, US Navy Veteran, beloved husband for 45 years to the late Margaret-Rose Sinars, nee Richard (2012). Loving father of Michele (Rand) Kral, Carrie (David) Ward, and David (Christiana) Sinars. Cherished grandfather of Tyler (Kara), Morgan, Caroline, Reece, Ethan, Camryn, Zachary, Nicholas, Gina, and Stella. Beloved companion of Beverly Beaty. Dear brother of James (late Eleanor) Sinars, the late Geraldine Silver, and the late Elizabeth Meyers. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Ed had a profound love for his country, demonstrated through his service in the Navy, where he proudly defended the values we hold dear. Ed was a member of the Orland Palos Reber-Tesmond VFW Memorial Post 2604. In his professional life, Ed was well-respected in his field as a skilled electrician and a proud member of Union Local 134. His expertise and commitment to excellence earned him admiration from colleagues and clients alike.

Visitation Wednesday, March 5, 2025 from 3-7:30 P.M. with a Time of Remembrance to follow at 7:30 P.M. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, Illinois. Interment with Military Honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery will be held at a later date.

A memorial gift in the memory of Edwin Sinars to the Illinois Veterans' Home at Manteno, 1 Veteran's Drive, Manteno, Illinois 60950, would be greatly appreciated.
