Edward J. Ward, age 80, U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. Beloved husband for 56 years to Virginia, nee Morissette. Loving father of Deborah (Matthew) Birmingham, Jennifer (Chris) Bozarth and Gregory (Cathy) Ward. Cherished grandfather of Timothy, Daniel and William Birmingham; Michael and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Bozarth. Dearest uncle of Jean (Jeff) Skolek, Dee (Joe) Salinas and the late Andrea (Vince) Barone. Dear great-uncle of many.
Edward was a retired machinist with over 50 years of service.
Visitation Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 2-7 p.m. Funeral Service Monday, June 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment with Military Honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
