Edward "NeNe" Martinez, age 60, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2018 surrounded by his family. Beloved husband for 42 years of Antoinette "Red" Martinez, nee Soto. Loving father of Edward Jr., Ruben and Anthony. Cherished grandfather of Haley Galvin, Michelle, Alyssa, Eddie III, Ruben Jr. and Nadia Martinez. Dear brother of Mary (Michael) Hanser and Joseph Martinez. Dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service to celebrate NeNe's life will be held at Crossroads Community Church, 5433 S. Austin Ave., Chicago, IL on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.
