Edward A. Dowd "Fast Eddie" age 59, of Blue Island, IL, passed away August 14, 2016. Loving father of Michael Dowd and Alisa Dowd. Cherished grandfather of Makayla, Kaleb, and soon to be born baby Dowd. Dear brother of James (Susan) Dowd, Thomas (Barbara) Dowd, Christina (Ed) Bulthuis, and Nancy (late Dennis) Crumpley. Dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 at St. Benedict Church, 2339 York Street, Blue Island, IL 60406. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m.
