Edward Deboer

C. Edward DeBoer, age 76, went to be with his Lord on March 7, 2018. Beloved husband of 47 years to Shirley, nee Marsman. Loving father of Mark (Kristen) and the late Michael (Melissa). Cherished grandfather of Peyton Mae. Ed was preceded in death by his sisters Pearl Draves and Virginia Stuit and his brothers Arthur, Harold and Richard. Dear uncle of several nieces and nephews. Mr. DeBoer was born on September 9, 1941 in Chicago, IL to Effie and Nicholas DeBoer. He married Shirley Marsman in Grand Rapids, MI on November 7, 1970. They have resided in Frankfort, Illinois for many years.

Ed is the former owner of Ed DeBoer Construction Company. He was active in his church, Christian Hills Church in Orland Hills and witnessed to many about Jesus through his involvement with Gideons International Organization.

Family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, April 7, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Christian Hills Church, 9001 W. 159th St., Orland Hills, IL 60487 with a Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 a.m.
