Edward J. Day, Sr., age 91, U.S. Army Veteran, beloved husband for 65 years to Rose, nee Herschbach. Loving father of Edward Jr. (Carol) Day, Debra Day, John (Kimberly) Day, Ronald Day, and Terrence (Mary) Day. Cherished grandfather of John, Meaghan; Scott, Patrick, Alexis; Chris, Mike, Julianne and Caitlin. Dearest great-grandfather of nine. Dear brother of the late Margaret Day.
Devoted life-long White Sox fan. Retired baker from Dressel's Bakery in Chicago with 40 years of service. Edward was an active parishioner at St. Julie Church serving as a Eucharist Minister, Alter Server and Usher.
