Edward J. Buis, age 62, of Chicago Ridge, IL passed away suddenly on July 31, 2023. Loving father of Joshua and Jessica Buis. Friend and former husband of Patricia Buis. Devoted son of Elsie J. and the late Willard J. Buis. Dear brother of Willard H. (Nancy) Buis and David A. Buis. Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Loyal friend to many.
Ed was a heavy equipment operator and proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150.
Visitation Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 2-7 p.m. Funeral Service Monday, August 7, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment Beverly Cemetery, Blue Island, IL.
