DuWayne R. Hornung, age 76, Korean War Marine Vet., Retired Chicago Police Officer, beloved husband for 52 years of Carmela “Lee”, nee Prosapio. Loving father of John (Marion), Maria (Richard) Small, and Rick (Diana). Cherished grandfather of John, Ryan, Eric, Rich, Dan, Lauren and Rachel. Preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday 3-9PM at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem Ave.) Orland Park. Lying in state Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. at Life Church, 6600 W. 127th St., Palos Heights. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park, IL.
