Rev. Dr. Grover J. Davis, age 85, beloved husband of the late Jackie Davis (nee Potter) and the late Sharon Davis (nee Schmidt). Loving father of Lloyd (Deborah) Davis, Yvonne Meadows, and Nathan (Brenda) Davis. Cherished grandfather and great-grandfather. Preceded in death by his two sisters.
Founding Director of the Chicago Christian Counseling Center. Former pastor of Stickney Reformed Church and Raritan Community Church. He was devoted to his Lord and was passionate in ministering to, counseling, and serving others.
Visitation Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 1-5 PM with a Funeral Service to follow at 5:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
