Douglas Fikeys

Douglas J. Fikeys, age 82, US Army Veteran, beloved husband for 46 years to Karen, nee Zemka. Dear brother of the late Edward (late Bonnie) Fikeys. Fond brother-in-law of Mark Zemka. Dearest uncle of Edward Fikeys, Lisa Fikeys, and Tracey Elhenicky.

Doug retired from ComEd with over 40 years of service. He found fulfillment in a variety of hobbies. Whether speeding down the drag strip, admiring vehicles at car shows, crafting wood with precision, or getting lost in the pages of a good book.

Visitation Wednesday, August 14, 2024 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Service Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL to follow.
