Dorothy L. Boersma, nee Vanderwall, age 95, beloved wife for 60 years to the late Melvin J. Boersma (2012). Loving mother of Sandra (Gary) Wagenaar, James (Janice) Boersma, Barbara (Steven) Klinckman, Judith (William III) Slager, Ronald (Paige) Boersma and Doreen (Steven) Summers. Cherished grandmother of Kurt (Lauren), Karl (Rachel) and Kent Wagenaar; Jason (Dana) Boersma; Emily (John) Mejia and Samuel Klinckman; William IV, Lindsay (Eric) Robbert and Benjamin (Britta) Slager; Philip, Raymond and Jacqueline Boersma; Simon (Kadee), Stacy, and Seth Summers. Dearest great-grandmother of James, Sophia, Mikayla, Austin, Sawyer, Reid, Aaron, Allison, Grant and Violet. Dearest sister of Lorraine (late Art) Deckinga. Dear sister-in-law of the late Jeanette Boersma, late Harriet (late Ben) Veldman, late Theodore (late Grace) Boersma and the late Mildred (late John) Hoving. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was a lifelong member of Mt. Greenwood Community Church.

Visitation Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
