Dorothy Benda

Dorothy L. Benda, nee Patterson, age 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 1, 2016. Beloved wife of 53 years to Steven E. Loving mother of Steven Benda, Susan (Steve) French, Scott (Annie) Benda and Beth Benda. Cherished grandmother of Laura (Mark) Dearing, Connor, Anthony, Colin, Carleigh, Aaron, and Carson. Dearest great-grandmother of Gunnar. Dear sister of Richard "Lee" (Lynne) and the late Joe and Melvin Patterson. Loving sister-in-law, aunt, and friend to many. Visitation Friday, February 5, 2016, from 2 - 9 p.m. at Christian Hills Church, 9001 W. 159th St., Orland Hills, IL 60487. A service to celebrate and honor Dorothy's life will be Saturday, February 6, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at Christian Hills Church. Private burial at Chapel Hill Gardens South in Oak Lawn, IL.
