Donna L. Nekic, nee Cooper, age 63, beloved wife for 34 years to Alojz "Louie" Nekic. Loving mother of Johnathan (Sara) and Adrianna. Dearest sister of Diane (late Steven) Kerr and Richard (Jennifer) Cooper. Fond aunt of Jennifer (William) Schreier, Scott (Jessica Zaslav) Kerr; and Mark (Hayley) Cooper. Cherished great-aunt of Caitlyn, Ethan and Conner Schreier; Koen Kerr-Zaslav; Harlin "Hayes" and Caroline Cooper. Dear niece of Nancy (late William) Rupp.
Donna will be dearly missed by the Sovan, Anzeljc, Medrano, Novak, Cepon and Cufar families, as well as her family at Christ Community Church. Donna loved the many co-workers and students at Lane Elementary School where she served as a teacher's aide for 17 years.
Visitation Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 2-7 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. An additional Visitation will be held at Christ Community Church, 13400 Bell Road, Lemont, IL on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 a.m.
