Donald P. Deering, age 88, passed away one day shy of his 89th birthday. U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. Beloved husband for 64 years to LoRita, nee Fencl. Loving father of Patrick (Jackie) Deering, Brigit (Mark) Welch and the late Dena Baro and Corie Deering. Cherished grandfather of Mick (Nathalie), Valerie (Tony), Season (Gio), Melody (Jeff), Carlie (Erik), Philip (Mandy), Collin and Haley. Dearest great-grandfather of Logan, Elianna, Rebekah, Selah, Evelyn, Elias and Moriah. Preceded in death by his siblings, Ginny, Rita, Bea and Michael. Don loved his family, cars, his dogs and was treasured by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he loved to play with and tease.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Service 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
