Della Wasilewski

Della K. Wasilewski, nee Helms, age 86, formerly of Brighton Park, passed away September 5, 2022 at her home in Matteson surrounded by her family. Beloved wife for 60 years to the late Gerald S. Wasilewski. Loving mother of Alan Sr., David (Wendy), and Michael (Tracey). Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Dan (Scarlet), A.J, Nikki (Dan) Kennedy, Erika (Ian) Ver, Stephen, and Sarah (Ryan) Maurella. Dear great-grandmother of Maddie and River. Dearest sister of the late Marsha Helms Clark.

Della was a long-time member of the Brighton Park Presbyterian Church. She was a choir member and Sunday School teacher. Della was a woman who truly loved to help and care for others.

Visitation Saturday, September 10, 2022, from 1-5 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 5:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment private.
