David Post, 73, originally from Chicago and recently Show Low, Arizona. Lost a short battle with cancer on February 3, 2019. He is survived by his wife Angela (nee Marasso) who he was lovingly dedicated to for 53 years of marriage. Loving father to son Jeffrey (Wendy) and granddaughters Jessica and Nicole. Dear brother of the late Harold Post. Dearest brother in law to Frank and Cindy Marasso and Uncle to Kristin (Jason), Joe (Andrea), Lauren and Sarah and Anne Vaughn.
Dave loved dogs, particularly his 2 Scotties, Scotch and Bourbon. He enjoyed volunteering at the Humane Society of the White Mountains walking dogs. Dave was an avid quilter, sewing many quilts tops for AZ Blankets for Kids, donating many quilts to women’s crisis centers, and quilted placemats to Meals On Wheels.
Visitation to Celebrate David's Life will be held Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave (Wheeler Dr./155th & Harlem) Orland Park IL from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm., with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 p.m. Interment private at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
