Daniel R. “Danny” Spoerl, age 68, at rest on May 13, 2026. Loving brother of Karen (Jerry) Weyer, Raymond (Gail) Spoerl and Kenneth (Carol) Spoerl. Special bonus brother to Rev. Don Borling. Cherished uncle of Jeff (Carla) Spoerl, Richard (Sarah) Spoerl and Cliff (Katie) Weyer. Dear great-uncle of many. Danny will also be missed by his family at the Monaghan House.

Danny didn’t talk. He had his share of disabilities. But he spoke loudly with his heart and soul. He brought out the best in everyone he met. His humility and grace will forever live in the hearts of those who crossed his path. His family, his group home, his church were all better because of Danny.

A gathering to Celebrate Danny’s life will take place at All Saints Lutheran Church, 13350 S. LaGrange Rd., Orland Park, IL 60462 on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to All Saints Lutheran Church are appreciated.
