Daniel Davis

Daniel J. Davis, age 69, beloved husband for 38 years to Kathryn, nee Aggen. Loving father of Daniel (Bridget) Davis and Mark (Kirsten) Davis. Cherished grandfather of Danny, Grace, and Hope. Devoted son of the late William H. and Jean (nee Novak) Davis. Dear brother of Richard (Kathy) Davis and the late William (Karen) Davis. Fond brother-in-law of David (Janet) Aggen, James (Sandra) Aggen, and George (Kathy) Aggen. Dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of many.

Dan lived a journey of overcoming many physical and health obstacles with a great sense of humor. He was a 1999 kidney and pancreas transplant recipient, and always felt grateful and blessed for the 22 years because of it. Dan loved the Lord and was a committed prayer warrior. He was a retired math teacher to over a thousand high school and college students, a Harmonica player and lover of music. While his sons were growing up, Dan enjoyed watching them play sports and cheering them on. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and hot dog enthusiast.

Visitation Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 3-8 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Lying in State Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Orland Park Christian Reformed Church, 7500 Sycamore Dr., Orland Park, IL from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. A live-stream of the service will be available.
