Loving father of Beth (Jerry) Cruz, John Christensen, and Karen (Michael) Zielinski. Cherished grandfather of Jonathan (Yvette) Cruz, Madelyn (fiancé Jacob) Cruz, Allison Cruz, Robert Christensen, Emma Christensen and Wyatt Zielinski. Dear brother of the late Lois Mae (late Gerhart) Derkovits, the late Doris (late Norman) Derkovits, the late Neale (Marge) Christensen, the late Wesley (Kathleen) Christensen, and the late Wayne (late Lisbeth) Christensen. Fond brother-in-law of the late Thomas (Christine) Harmsen and the late Arthur (Barbara) Harmsen. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 3-7 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL 60462. Burial private at Oak Hill Cemetery.
