Concepcion Garcia, 85, late of Cicero, formerly of Durango, Mexico, passed away January 12, 2021. Beloved son of the late Rosalio and Rafaela (nee Delatorre). Cherished husband of Maria (nee Gonzalez). Devoted father of Jose Luis (Maria), Daniel (Veronica), Jesus, Sylvia (Juan) Mercado, The late Elisa, Martha, Salvador and Jose (Hilda). Loving brother of Mateo, Margarita, Manuela, Federico, Hernando, Baltazar and Juan. Dearest Grandfather of 18. Dearest great-grandfather of 14. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. He worked hard as a machine operator in the metals industry but in retirement he enjoyed watching "Walker, Texas Ranger", "Telemundo", his pon bread and drinking Folgers coffee from a real percolator. Visitation Friday, January 29, 2021 from 3-8pm at the Maher Funeral Home, 17101 S. 71st Ave. Tinley Park. Funeral Saturday January 30th at Mary Queen of Heaven Church, 5300 W. 24th Street, Cicero, at 8:45 am. Friends and family to meet directly at the church Saturday morning.
