Rev. Clement Bilhorn

Rev. Clement P. “Pastor Clem” Bilhorn, age 93, beloved husband for 68 years to Marie, nee Riedel. Loving father of Louise (Craig) Parro, Dr. Lorin (Dr. Denise) Bilhorn, Alison (Frank) Knoll, and Annette (Rick) DeGroot. Cherished grandfather of 12. Dearest great-grandfather of 14. Dear brother of Alice Jane Starr and the late J. Merlyn Bilhorn and the late James Bilhorn. Dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Clem was born in 1928 and died after a short illness on May 12, 2021. After graduating from Schurz High School, he served in the Navy Air Corps. He graduated from Wheaton College and Northern Baptist Seminary. Clem served the Lord for 14 years at Mayfair Bible Church in Chicago and at Moraine Valley Church in Palos Heights for 52 years. There he led the worship, directed adult, teen and children’s choirs, and taught Bible classes often using drama to impart Biblical truths. He also brought the Word of God to senior-living centers.

Visitation: Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Moraine Valley Church, 6300 W. 127th St., Palos Heights, IL 60463 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow at 4:30 p.m. To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements.
