Clarence R. “C.R.” Wirth, age 96, US Marine Corps Korean War Veteran, passed away at his home in Worth that he designed and built in 1961, surrounded by his family on Thursday evening, May 28, 2026. Beloved husband for 63 years to the late Jennean M. "Jean" Wirth, nee Olson (2018). Loving and devoted father of Mark Wirth, Jane (Randy) Davidson, John (Barbara) Wirth and Kristin (Luis) Rodriguez. Cherished grandfather of Mark Jr. (Brittany) Wirth, Jennifer Wirth, Jeanette Wirth; Michael (Stephanie) Davidson and Laura (Chrisopher) Dzomba; Angela Wirth, Karli (Joseph) Simmons, Taylor Wirth, Emily Wirth, and John Wirth; Luis (Sarah) Rodriguez, Nicholas (Allie) Rodriguez, and Andrew Rodriguez. Dearest great-grandfather of Livia, Alexander, Nathan, Abigail, Robbie, Joshua, Addison, Payton, Christian, Austin, Natalie, Logan, and soon to be born Cataleya. Devoted son of the late George and Evelyn Wirth. Dear brother of late George (late Rosemary) Wirth, Elizabeth “Betty” (late Ronald) Nichol, and John “Jack” (Marilyn) Wirth. Preceded in death by Jean’s siblings Arnie Olson, Doloris "Dodie" Engberg, Benjamin Olson, Jean's twin brother James Olson, and Oren Olson. Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Clarence was a modest man who was a blessing to everyone who knew him. When I say a modest man, he never shined the light on himself. He was a home builder, served in the US military, black belt in judo, expert marksman, boxer and amazing family man. His first and MAIN priority was always family first!
