Clara Schrank

Clara Schrank, nee Harms, age 93, life-long resident of Tinley Park area, beloved wife of the late Walter, died peacefully in the forenoon Sunday, March 13 following a brief illness. Her children are Melvagene (Barry) Paulson and Leonard (Colette) Schrank. Grandchildren Bret (Trish) Paulson, Anne Marie (David) Ripp, and Tim (Meg) Paulson. Her great- grandchildren are Tyler and Andy Paulson. Siblings included Rose (Herman) Stege, Emil (Esther), Lillian (Ed) Kampe, Elsie (Louis) Marquardt, Loraine (Reinhardt) Blume and Harry (Evelyn). Her husband’s siblings included Laura (Herbert) Stege, Paul (May), Edna (Edwin) Oldendorf, Alfred (Betty), Herbert, and Frieda (Don) Hamilton. She was beloved by many, many nieces, nephews, cousins, her children’s in-laws, friends, neighbors, and members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Tinley Park. Many knew and loved her for a quarter century simply as “Clara” at Jardine’s- and she was the one who baked the pies. Visitation Tuesday 3-9 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park. Lying in state Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6850 W. 159th St., Tinley Park, IL 60477.
