Christopher Hodges

January 6, 1959 — August 21, 2024

Christopher J. Hodges, age 65, passed suddenly at home on August 21, 2024. He was preceded in death by his late father Gerald E. Hodges (2013) and his sister Lorianne K. Hodges (August 4, 2024). He is survived by his beloved mother Joyce J. Hodges, his sisters Pamela Hodges, Karrie Burt (Gary Burt), Wendy Eckard (Lincoln Eckard), and Anne Hodges, and his brother Jonathan Hodges. He also had many nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

A graduate of Carl Sandburg High School, with AAS Electronic Certifications from Joliet Junior College, Moraine Valley Community College and Prairie State College. He was proficient in Apple and Texas Instrument computers and held a Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit. He retired last year from his electrical maintenance position at Formax.

He had several of his photographs on display at Prairie State College. He was an avid motorcyclist, photographer, classic car enthusiast, and national and international traveler. He liked bowling, camping, and German/Czech foods.

A time of visitation for both Christopher and his sister Lorianne will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL from 1-4 p.m. with a Service to Celebrate both of their lives to be held at 4:00 p.m.
