Christine M. “Chris” Zemka, nee Fiszer, age 69, loving mother of Tracy (late Brian) Elhenicky. Cherished grandmother of Preston and Halen. Devoted daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Fiszer. Dearest sister of Barbara (Arvydas) Laucius, Nancy (Glenn) Syverson, and Mary Ann (Edward) Raciak. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Faithful and caring companion to her dogs, Mellow and the late Lexi.

Chris was a hardworking woman who spent many years at Wrigley, where her dedication and kind-hearted spirit were appreciated by everyone who knew her.

She loved her family deeply and cherished the time she spent with her sisters and their families, enjoying every moment of closeness they shared. She was incredibly giving and loved having people over, happy for the company and the chance to fill her home with conversation and life.

A talented hairdresser, she worked both in the salon and from home, always ready with her tools and the steady hands that helped everyone look and feel their best.

She had a well-known sweet tooth, especially for her beloved pound cake.

She adored her dogs, Mellow and Lexi, enjoyed camping and bike rides with family, and found joy in the simple moments—especially shopping trips shared with her daughter.

Though life brought her challenges, her heart was full; she always meant well, loved deeply and wished for nothing more than to give her family the very best she could.

Visitation Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 3:00-8:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 7:00 PM at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL 60462.
