Charmain was the eldest of eight children, a role she carried with pride and care throughout her life. She was a dedicated wife, sister, aunt and friend, and a true pillar of strength, love and inspiration for all who knew her.

Charmain grew up in Oak Forest, Illinois before enlisting in the United States Air Force. She took great pride in her service and her time in the Air Force shaped her into the strong and resilient woman she would become. After retiring from the military as a Master Sergeant, she continued her lifelong commitment to helping others by working for the state of Nevada. In this role she spent many years supporting young women with developmental disabilities, offering care, guidance, patience and support that made a meaningful difference in their lives.

Charmain lived in Las Vegas for 30 years, a city she came to love, before returning home to be closer to family. During her time there, she built a full and vibrant life alongside her husband Robert. She cherished her time with loved ones and found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Charmain had a passion for travel and enjoyed exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. She also loved the excitement of a Casino, where she could often be found trying her luck at a slot machine or enjoying a game of BINGO. She was a devoted sports fan and she had a special love for the Chicago Cubs. She passionately and faithfully cheered them on all season. A true green thumb, Charmain took pride in creating a beautiful and welcoming landscape in her backyard, filled with countless plants and flowers. She truly transformed her backyard into an oasis, and it became a place where she could relax and enjoy time with her loved ones.

Above all, Charmain cherished her family. Family was at the center of her life and she made it a priority to stay connected with those she loved. She made a special effort to connect with all of her nieces and nephews. She took a genuine interest in their lives, celebrating their accomplishments, offering support during challenges and making sure each one knew how deeply they were loved. Family meant everything to her and she made it a priority to stay connected and present in everyone's life. Her home and heart were always open to family, but her truest joy was in the bond she shared as a sister.
