Charles R. "Chuck" DeWilkins, age 85, loving father of Charles (Maggie) DeWilkins Jr., Catherine (late Bert) Gonzalez and Lori (Charles) Schmidt. Cherished grandfather of Jason (Lisa) DeWilkins, Nicholas (Crystal) DeWilkins, Lauren (Mo) Gonzalez-Abdelaziz, Tom (Yasmine) Finnegan, Colin Finnegan, Jack Gonzalez, Lindsey Schmidt and Amanda Schmidt. Dearest great-grandfather of Jason Jr., Lucas, Kyle and Samantha. Dear brother of Donald (Margaret) DeWilkins. Fond uncle and great-uncle of many. Companion of Maria Barraco for many years.

Chuck was a retired sheet metal worker and member of Local Union 73. He was an avid NASCAR fan and a passionate football fan. Chuck also loved to spend time with his family.

Visitation Friday, September 6, 2024 from 3-8 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 7:30 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
