Caryle Gloria Ness

Caryle Gloria Ness (Oedzes) of Archer, FL went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 16, 2013. Caryle was born in Chicago on November 12, 1924, and moved from Oak Forest, Illinois in 2008. Her 88 years were full, and her family was the focus of her life.
Caryle was well-known as a librarian at the Oak Lawn Public Library, where she was employed for 25 years, retiring in 1987. She was a woman of strong Christian faith and was gifted with a lovely voice. In years gone by she often sang solos in church. She was also a Sunday school teacher.
Caryle was preceded in death by her husband, Leo; father, John (Jack); mother Alva; and daughter Martha Bain (Nienhouse). She is survived by her children Norman (Cherilyn) of Tinley Park, IL; Deborah of Archer, FL; and Paul (Jolene) of Henderson, NV. Beloved grandmother of Scott, Garrett, and Shawn Ness; Megan Lamaster (Ness); Julie (Greg) Campen (Nienhouse) and Sara (Jeremy) Neufeld (Nienhouse); Joanna (Trey) Clarkson (Ness), and Michael Ness. Cherished great-grandmother of Jacob, Nathan, and Abigail Neufeld; Alyssa Lamaster; and Raquel and Gabriel Ness. Proud great-great-grandmother of Aubree.
She will be greatly missed by her nephew William Giese of Ft. Smith, AR and niece Nola Giese of Mesquite, TX. She will be missed as well by her loving Florida family: Tommy Hicks and Alana; Diann; Thomas (Gator); Tami, Dell, and Tori.
The family would like to express their deepest appreciation for the care provided to Caryle in her final hours by Hospice of Citrus County as well as the staff at Good Samaritan Retirement Home in Williston.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 10:00AM until time of Funeral Service 11:30AM at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem Ave.) Orland Park, IL.
