Carole J. Loeber, nee Schabes, age 81, passed away on February 25, 2024 in Naples, FL. Beloved wife for 60 years to Richard G. Loeber. Loving mother of Lori (Phil) Gazzola and Patricia (late James) Curry. Cherished grandmother of Kristi (Mike) Arcurie, Katie Gazzola, Heather Gazzola, Matthew Gazzola, Danny Darnell and Jackie Darnell. Dearest great-grandmother of Brody, Jaylen and Brantley. Devoted daughter of the late Paul and Maryalice (nee Cameron) Schabes. Dear sister of the late Susan Blackstock.

A loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great GG that was so proud of her family who brought great joy to many with her cooking and her entertaining with a smile on her face that brightened everyday! The greatest homemaker who kept an impeccable home! A sense of humor that will make everyone laugh! A wit like no other! Carole will be in our hearts forever! She always enjoyed people! A listener that really cared! Known for her famous fish fries. So caring and generous. You were the rock behind everyone! RIP We love you!

Visitation Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Friday, March 15, 2024 , 9:15 a.m. from Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL to St. Damian Church, 5250 155th Street, Oak Forest, IL. Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment private.
