Carol J. Karris

Carol Joan Karris (Domaz), age 82, beloved wife of Vernon for 61 years. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Julia Domaz; brother Wayne (late Nancy) Domaz, and sister June (late Robert) Olson. Cherished mother of Pamela (Derek) Buerger, Erik (Jennifer) Karris, and Reid (Nikki) Karris. Wonderful and thoughtful grandmother of eight: Kelsey (Daniel) Truesdale, Paige (Kevin) Phillips, Duncan Karris, Bram Karris, Cole (fiancée Francesca Spero) Evans, Emerson Karris, Miles Karris, and Daphne Karris. Dearest great-grandmother of Aiden Truesdale. Treasured aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. Dear friend to many.

Carol’s life always revolved around her family and helping others. She supported her children and grandchildren in everything that they did. She was deeply involved in Sunday School, VBS, and church activities. She made everyone feel welcomed in all she did. Her kindness and love will be missed by many.

Visitation Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 3:00-8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Visitation continues at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6850 W. 159th St., Tinley Park, IL 60477 on Friday, December 19, 2025 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service 11:00 AM. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, Oak Lawn, IL.
