Candlelight Remembrance Service

The Christmas Season is upon us and for those who have lost a loved one it’s not an easy time of year.  For families that are grieving, what use to be a festive time, now may be difficult to get into the “spirit” of Christmas.  Here at the Maher Funeral Home we are aware of the sadness the holiday season may bring to those who have lost a loved one.  All are invited to join us for our “Candlelight Remembrance Service”  on Saturday December 12th at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home 17101 71st Ave (7051 W. 171st St) Tinley Park.  The service is designed for families to remember their loved ones in a special way. We will have ornament’s for families along with Christmas Carols and an intimate candlelight ceremony to pay tribute to our loved ones by saying their name as we light our candles.

Along with our  main Christmas tree we also will have a Patriot tree with special ornaments in honor of our loved ones who have served our Country.  All families are invited, this is a community event for everyone.  We hope you can attend we are looking forward to seeing you.
