Brian Walus

Brian Walus, 55, of Somers, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday November 25, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Brian was born on August 12, 1960 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Lawrence & Genevieve (Paculiski) Walus. He was educated in the schools of Chicago. Brian married Dawn Rees on August 5, 2003 in Big Sky, MT. He was a self-employed truck driver for many years. His hobbies included fixing things, tinkering in the garage, and spending time with family & friends. Survivors include his wife, Dawn Walus of Somers, WI; a son, Ryan (Linda) Winterfeldt of IL; brothers, Lawrence (Pamela) Walus Jr., of IL, Wayne (Renee) Walus of IL; a sister, Judy (George) Reed of IL; a granddaughter, Hailey Winterfeldt; a brother-in-law, James O’Brien. Brian was a beloved Uncle to many. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joanne O’Brien. A memorial gathering will be held at Colonial Chapel, 15525 South 73rd Ave. (155thWheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park IL, 60462, from 1:00-5:00 pm with a Memorial Service at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2015.
