Bradley J. Holwerda, age 38, went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 22, 2024. Beloved husband for 13 years to Lindsey, nee Schutt. Loving father of Grace and Sadie. Devoted son of James and Debra (nee Beenes) Holwerda. Dear brother of Gregory (Maria) Holwerda and Lindsey (Zach) Camphouse. Wonderful son-in-law of Andrew and Christine (nee VanderWagen) Schutt. Dearest brother-in-law of Andrew (Dawn) Schutt and Timothy (Amy) Schutt. Proud uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Brad always enjoyed nature and the simplicity of being outside. Some of his hobbies included fishing, hunting, and enjoying the sounds and stillness of nature. Some of Brad’s greatest qualities were his gentle heart, kind spirit, and patience. He was incredibly strong and hid his pain and suffering well. His love for his wife and daughters was clearly evident. His love for the Lord was abundant too. Brad’s greatest desire was to do good with what he was given in hopes that people’s hearts and lives would be changed. Upon entering Jesus’ arms he most definitely heard “Well done, good and faithful servant”.
