Bonnie Joy Siwek, nee Blondina, age 75, beloved wife for 42 years to the late Leo F. Siwek (2013). Loving mother of Jill (Keith) O’Connell and Alison (Jason) Bramhall. Cherished Amma of Aidan, Ryan and Lincoln. Devoted daughter of the late Sam and Mary (nee Bajic) Blondina. Fond sister-in-law of Carol Yanos and Bernadine (John) Frost. Dearest aunt, cousin and friend of many.
Bonnie was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She was the first graduating class of Queen of Peace High School. In 2012, Bonnie retired after many years of employment from American Sale.
Bonnie passed away peacefully in her beloved home. She took so much joy and pride in decorating her home.. She enjoyed decorating for each holiday, especially Christmas. Her multiple Christmas trees were stunning with much attention to every detail.
Bonnie dedicated her time to volunteering at the Orland Park Food Pantry. She loved attending mass and was a member of a prayer group. She also enjoyed travel, shopping, music and her weekly lunches with her friends.
Bonnie was a dedicated and loving mother. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Amma. She was so proud of her grandsons and made sure they always knew how special they were to her.
Visitation Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. from Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) to St. Michael Church, 14327 Highland Ave, Orland Park, IL. Mass 10:30 a.m. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park, IL.
