It is with profound love and reverence that we share the peaceful passing of Mr. Bharat Ratilal Tanna, aged 74, on October 25, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona.

Beloved husband to Mrs. Prathima Tanna, devoted father to Dr. Poonam Trivedi and her husband Satu Trivedi, and Dr. Sonam Sidhu and her husband Dr. Harpreet Sidhu, he was the proud and adoring “Nana” to his three grandchildren — Shaili, Theodore (Teddy), and Sheena — with a fourth grandchild lovingly on the way. His grandchildren were his greatest joy and constant source of light.

A man of extraordinary drive and integrity, Mr. Tanna worked tirelessly throughout his life, earning a master’s degree in engineering and building a remarkable career as a real estate broker, stock broker, loan officer, business owner, and entrepreneur. He found success in every endeavor not only through his intellect and work ethic, but through his honesty, humility, and dedication to those he served. His entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering determination inspired all who knew him.

Beyond his professional achievements, he was a man of deep reflection, generosity, and kindness — qualities that guided him through life and left a lasting mark on everyone he met. He lived by the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, embodying the very essence of spiritual discipline and compassion:

“Cheerfulness of mind, kindness to others, keeping silence, self-control and purity of thoughts; these constitute the austerities (tapas) of the mind.” — Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 17, Verse 16

He also embraced another timeless lesson from the Gita:

“Whatever happened, happened for the good. Whatever is happening, is happening for the good. Whatever will happen, will also happen for the good.”

This belief reflected his deeply positive outlook on life — the conviction that even life’s hardships could lead to blessings over time. Through every challenge, he remained optimistic, grateful, and full of faith.

His wisdom, laughter, and gentle strength will continue to live on through his family and all whose lives he touched.
