Beverly "Bev" Slager, nee Schaafsma, age 59, beloved wife for 40 years to Robert Slager, Jr. Loving mother of Katie (Eric) Greenhill and Kristen (Matt) Darling. Cherished Mimi of Maddie, Ellie, Josie, Riley, Charlotte, and Nolan. Faithful and devoted daughter of William and Pat Schaafsma. Dearest sister of Barb (Ken) Siegers, Kim (Skip) VanRyn, and the late William "Billy" (Amy) Schaafsma. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Dear sister-in-law of Lynn (Harlan) Fissel and Nancy (Ed) Kawa. Dearest niece, cousin and friend of many.

Mimi loved and cherished spending time with her grandkids. The memories they made creating fairy gardens, making crafts, having sleepovers, and spending time together at the cottage are the times they will never forget and will always hold dear in their hearts. Bev was loved by everyone who knew her.

Visitation Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Bev's life will be held at Orland Park Christian Reformed Church, 7500 Sycamore Dr., Orland Park, IL on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. A live-stream of the service will be available.
