Beverly Decker-Baar

Beverly J. Decker-Baar, nee Meekma, age 74, beloved wife for 26 years to Dr. David J. Baar. Loving mother of Dr. Geoffrey (Amy) Decker, Mark (Katie) Decker and Jonathan (Josie) Decker. Cherished grandmother of Anna, Cameron, Aaron and Dylan. Devoted daughter of the late Dr. John and Pauline Meekma. Dear sister of Dr. Larry (late Pat) Meekma, Bonnie (John) Kats and Glenn (June) Meekma. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Beverly was the greatest of accompanists, in music and in life. She made everyone better with her presence. Her spirit lives on in the music and people she touched.

Memorial Service Sunday, February 18, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Hope Christian Reformed Church, 5825 151st St., Oak Forest, IL. Burial Service will take place Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthias Episcopal Church, 403 E. Chicago Ave., Minocqua, WI.
