Benjamin J. Cempel, age 82, WWII Army Vet, beloved husband of Julie R., nee Adamek. Loving father of Don (Dr. Karen Eggen), Christine (Warren) Ogden, and Jim (Yuan-Lin Liu) Cempel. Cherished grandfather of Erik, Kevin, Joseph, Katherine, and Daniel. Dear brother of Josephine Semlow, and the late Edward, Steven, and Charlotte Podlesak. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Family & friends will gather for a Memorial Funeral Mass Saturday 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Ridge Church, 109th & Ridgeland Ave, Chicago Ridge, Illinois. Interment private.
