Barbara G. Devlin, nee Wright, age 87, beloved wife of 64 years to Thomas Devlin.
Loving mother of Greg (Laura) Devlin, Scott (Kari) Devlin and Ryan Devlin (Jeffrey Reynolds). Cherished grandmother to Abbey, Sean, Jack, Maggie and Grace.
Barb, Barbie or "Buffy" as Tom called her, grew up in Detroit and moved to Chicago at an early age. Her and Tom met by chance at Al's Bar in Chicago near Midway Airport and married seven months later. They ran their own window covering business while raising their family in Midlothian, IL. Barb later worked at the Midlothian Park District for almost 15 years before retiring.
She loved to read, she loved dogs, especially her Rocco that she had for 17 years, she loved a good card game (especially when she won), and she never passed up a sweet treat. But most of all she loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She will be so greatly missed.
